Las Vegas Nevada, a life of great weather, beautiful mountains, tourist attractions, beer, money and sex. All in one city that is 136 sq. miles around. Â
Living in Las Vegas off the strip is very affordable, and a nice area for seniors. Not much rain, heat is not humid as it is in most states. They can gamble if they like, and can afford to live with extra money in their pocket. Â
As far as the tourist life that can be exciting and fun, or can turn out horrible if not careful. Â
Once you land at the airport there are slot machines at every turn. While on the strip, you are approached by ten different people in under five minutes, offering deals or whores. They even have business cards for sex, and a bio on the women. If you’re selling your body why would one care about who you are or what you do. But it’s legal in this state. And there is always an offer for you to sell your savings and maybe your soul for free shows, dinner or money.
However, dining out is very expensive and the party life is fabulous. Mingling, dancing, drinking and live music. Some singles go out with their friends and find some more friends. Then at the end of the night two people become one in a room with a little bit more fun from alcohol. And that’s not a pretty picture to wake up too. Sadly this kind of actions don’t just happen in Vegas. But that’s why people like to say “whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.”
On the other hand, Vegas has the playground of gambling. Where the machines make nose and have colorful flashing lights. The best hypnosis is on the first floor in every hotel. The perfect trap. You get mesmerize in the nose, lights and money. What are your chances of becoming rich? Can’t hurt to sit in a chair and try. Put money in the machine, watch it go up, then down, then up, now the lady comes and offers you free drinks helping you to lose focus. Now the intoxication of liquor, ringing of nose and pretty flashing lights you lose yourself in gambling and money. You bet more and more and even your plane ticket. Now you have nothing; broke and homeless. “Was it worth it?” Rumors has it that some committed suicide because they don’t know what else to do. So sad!
However, if you’re one of the people who look more to what is outside of the sin city then let’s adventure. Close by are aquariums of sharks, snakes and lizards right in the hotels. Mountains of Red Rock Canyon, and dessert of mountains from dinosaur life and when the volcano erupted. Then two hours away is the Hoover Dam, travel another four hours will be the open land of the Grand Canyon.
God’s creation of the earth is beautiful, letting you become at peace and look at life differently.
Take in my experience and view of Las Vegas before traveling out there. Be safe and have fun.
