Since my family and I moved from Philadelphia, PA, to Atlanta, GA, our friends and family have been asking us how is it living here and what kind of activities they can do for a weekend trip.
The city has culture, art, music, diversity, shopping, and beautiful parks. This vibrant city has fun attractions, festivals, sports events, great dining options, and a lively nightlife scene.
And the best part? Flights to Atlanta are incredibly affordable. So why not treat yourself to a luxurious hotel stay, explore a new city, and indulge in much-needed relaxation without the kids?

Being on the SkyView Ferris Wheel near Centennial Park you can see the beauty of Atlanta through high up in the air. Take in the stunning views of the downtown area and the surrounding metropolitan area from the comfort of 42 climate-controlled gondolas.
Be sure to plan this activity in the after breakfast or mid afternoon. The lines will fill up so get there as early as you can and while the sun is up for a better view.
For a more thrilling experience, opt for the VIP gondola featuring Ferrari-style seats, a glass floor, and a longer flight time. Making this an unforgettable, exciting and scary memories that will last a lifetime.
Take a stroll through Piedmont Park.

However, Tin Lizzy’s Cantina has some great Mexican meal options and is close to SkyView Atlanta. They don’t just focus on the deliciousness of tacos to just one type of cuisine.
Their tacos are so tasty with a spin of the borders and combine unexpected flavors into works of art. Go for the grilled mahi-mahi tacos, they are on the top of my list. Plus there are more to try, like the buttermilk fried chicken, Korean BBQ, and the Philly Cheesesteak. Have their well-crafted margaritas for a drink with your meal.
